Who was Jerry Wallace?

Jerry Wallace was an American country and pop singer. Between 1958 and 1964, Wallace charted nine hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including the No. 8 "Primrose Lane." He made his debut on the country music charts in 1965, entering it thirty-five times between then and 1980. In that timespan, Wallace charted within the country Top Ten four times. His only number one song was "If You Leave Me Tonight I'll Cry," a song which gained popularity after it was used in an episode of the 1970s TV series Night Gallery.

The lyrics to the "If You Leave Me Tonight I'll Cry" song were written by ASCAPS award-winner writer Gerald Sanford.

Please note that the lyrics for 'IF YOU LEAVE ME TONIGHT I'LL CRY' were written by GERALD SANFORD and not JERRY WALLACE. Thank you.

Isn't the above STANDS4 enough PROOF that I 'GERALD SANFORD' wrote 'IF YOU LEAVE ME TONIGHT I'LL CRY'? If not -- or if you can't read -- simply check with 'THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF COMPOSERS, AUTHORS and PUBLISHERS' and you will learn the truth about who wrote what. C'mon, the TRUTH IS THE TRUTH! it's as simple as all that. P.S. I've also written 5 MOVIES, and several PLAYS. Gerald Sanford.
