Jesse Nathaniel Smith was a Mormon pioneer, church leader, colonizer, politician and frontiersman. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a first cousin to Joseph Smith Jr., founder of the Latter Day Saint movement.
