Who is Jo Palmer?
Jo Palmer presents the half-hour program Southern Cross Nightly News in Tasmania on Southern Cross Television.
Originally employed by the station in Hobart as a journalist, she is a former Miss Tasmania and in 1993 she was awarded Miss Australia.
Jo is a past recipient of the Tasmanian of the Year for her charity and community work.
