Joseph Mathias Kovacs is an American track and field athlete who competes in the shot put and has a personal record of 21.47 meters outdoors and 21.46 meters indoors.
Before attending Penn State, he excelled in high school and won PIAA titles in the discus and the shot put during senior season. The winning shot put mark of 64 ft 10.75 in is the PIAA class AA State record.
