John Francis "Honey Fitz" Fitzgerald was an Irish-American politician who served as Mayor of Boston. He was the father of philanthropist/socialite Rose Kennedy. Rose and her husband businessman/politician Joseph P. Kennedy, Sr. were the parents of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and long-time Senator Ted Kennedy.
