Who is John Timoney?
John F. Timoney is a law enforcement executive who served as Chief of the Miami Police Department. He was previously Commissioner of the Philadelphia Police Department, and also held a variety of positions with the New York Police Department, including its Chief of Department and First Deputy Commissioner. He currently works for the Ministry of the Interior of Bahrain as a police consultant. Timoney has drawn international attention for his handling of mass protests, drawing both praise and controversy.
