Who was José Pedraza?
José Pedraza Zúñiga a.k.a. "El Sargento Pedraza" was a race walker from Mexico, and an army sergeant. He was the first Mexican athlete to win an Olympic medal in track and field. He inspired other Mexican race walkers who won Gold medals in future Olympics.
