Who is Juan Carlos Heredia?
Juan Carlos Heredia is a former Argentine football striker who played for the Spain national team.
Heredia made his debut in 1970 for his home town club Belgrano in 1972 he transferred to Rosario Central but was quickly signed for FC Barcelona.
Barcelona loaned him out to FC Porto of Portugal and then Elche CF of Spain before he joined up with the club in 1974. Heredia was part of the team that won the Copa del Rey in 1976 and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1978-79.
In 1979 Heredia returned to Argentina to play for River Plate where he helped the club to win two league championships in the early 1980s. Towards the end of his career he had a short spell with Argentinos Juniors.
