Judith Moses was a candidate for the Ontario Liberal Party nomination in the riding of St. Paul's for the position of the Member of Provincial Parliament, which was won by Eric Hoskins on August 12, 2009. She previously ran for the Liberal Party of Canada as a candidate for the position of Member of Parliament in the federal electoral district of York—Simcoe, Ontario. She ran against the incumbent Conservative MP and Minister of Public Safety, Peter Van Loan.
