Who is Jules Sobrian?
Dr. Jules Sobrian, in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, is a medical doctor, competitive marksman and author, who resides in Omemee, Ontario, Canada. He was born in Trinidad and emigrated to Canada at the age of 21. Sobrian began shooting competitively at Hart House Revolver Club at the University of Toronto while studying medicine. He has competed for Canada in pistol-shooting events at four Olympic Games, and has won 5 individual medals in pistol-shooting at three Commonwealth Games and 4 individual medals in pistol-shooting at three Pan American Games. He won the Championship of the Americas in Free Pistol in 1973.
