Who is Julie Friedman?

Julie Friedman is an American social entrepreneur, public speaker and futurist. As CEO of The MetaSpace, a social enterprise committed to civic innovation, social ventures, new manufacturing, and the human condition, Julie has dedicated years of time and expertise towards creating a web of businesses that support social change and have a positive impact in their communities. Julie is an autodidactic learner who believes strongly in fostering a lifelong love of learning. Friedman's studies have included everything from biochemistry and neuroscience to theater, manufacturing, and human behavior. Julie is also the Primary Contributor to Encyclopædia Britannica's "3D Printing: Year in Review 2013".
