Who is Justin Stephenson?
Justin Stephenson is an animator and filmmaker from Toronto, Ontario. Justin has designed and directed feature film title sequences, commercial work, music videos and short films.
His commercial work has garnered him international awards including multiple Gold and Silver BDAs. He most recently designed and produced a children's series for TVO entitled Story Explores slated for release in fall 2013. He also designed and animated the title sequence for the Netflix series,Hemlock Grove. In addition, he has directed music videos for Canadian Musicians such as Rheostatics, Sarah Slean and Ron Sexsmith.
His film directing credits include How the Gimquat Found her Song, Citi Sonatina, Tabulae Anatomicae Sex, Five Short Movements as well as mixed media sequences for McLuhan's Wake, 100 Films and a Funeral.
Justin is currently finishing a film project based on the writing of Canadian poet BpNichol.
