NewsChannel 5 Anchor ' ' ' Kay Quinn' ' ' joined KSDK in January 1989, She is the Station's weeknight evening news anchor and an emmy award winning health reporter, It is an exciting beat that allows her to bring viewers the latest in medical breakthroughs and other important health information, KSDK's Healthbeat segments with Kay Quinn air weekdays at 5:00 pm, She is also a regular contibutor to the station's Cover Story seen during the week at 10:00 pm.
Kay's Broadcasting career began in 1981 at radio stations in Vancouver, British Canada, She moved to St. Louis in 1985 and continued her radio career as a news anchor and reporter on KMOX, KLOU, and KXOK in St. Louis, MO, Kay also worked at KDNL-TV in St. Louis, MO as part of the station's on-air promotions staff.
Quinn serves as an honorary member of the Advisory Committee for the Barnes College of Nursing at the University Of Missouri - St. Louis, She is a graduate of Maryville University of St. Louis, In addition to living in Canada, Kay also lived in California and Hawaii, where she grew up, Kay's interest in television and journalism grew her father's career in sports management. Jack Quinn is the former president of the St. Louis Blues Hockey Club, Kay is married and lives in St. Louis County.
