Who is Kenny Tate?

Kenny Tate is an American football player. He plays college football as a safety for the Maryland Terrapins at the University of Maryland. He was recruited as a wide receiver, but as a true freshman in 2008, was converted to the safety position. During his college tenure, Tate has lined up as a defensive end, defensive tackle, middle linebacker, outside linebacker, and defensive back. He was a highly touted college prospect and considered one of the best interscholastic players in the nation.
