Meteorologist ' ' 'Kristen Cornett' ' ' joined the 4 Warn Storm Team in October 2007, She provides the weather for weekends for News 4, Saturdays at 6 and 10 pm and Sundays at 5:30 and 10 pm, She provides also go green reports for News 4 on Tuesdays and Fridays, She fills in for Matt on Awake with News 4, or live in the field, or helping out during Storm Mode Coverage tracking the storms in the studio, In 1999, She earned the Seal Of Apporval from The American Meteorological Society and a member of the National Weather Association.

Kristen grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, She fascinated severe weather at an early age and her parents drag her inside in her front porch during the storms, She also saw a Tornado and stood of an eye of a Hurricane, She also joined the University Of Kentucky to be a doctor neither that she would be a Broadcast Meteorologist sooner, She also fascinated Earthquakes and Volcanoes, If she wasn't a Meteorologist she'll be a selsmologist or a volcanologist, She also earned her degree for GeoScience of emphasis in Meteorology from Mississippi State University.

From there, She worked for Local Television for 14 years, She was a Weekend weather anchor at WCBI-TV in Columbus, MS, Back in 1996 also she was a Weekend Meteorologist at WAAY-TV in Huntsville, AL, in 1997, But in 2001, She began to work at WHAS-TV in Louisville, KY as a Weekend weather anchor, In 2004, She also worked at (NBC affiliate) WLWT in Cincinnati, OH as a Morning & a Afternoon Meteorologist, Back in 2006, She was a Staff Meteorologist at NBC Weather Plus where she appeared on NBC Nightly News, Early Today, CNBC, MSNBC & The Today Show.

Also Recently, Kristen was getting engaged to Steve Knapp, She was also doing her blog called Kristen In The City in July 2008, Where she can go everywhere.
