Who was Len McIntyre?

James Leonard "Len" McIntyre was a professional rugby league footballer of the 1950s, '60s and '70s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, Rugby League XIII, and Lancashire, and at club level for St. Helens, Barrow, Oldham, Liverpool City, Wigan, Warrington, and Widnes, as a Hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums, after retiring from playing he became the Warrington colts coach.
