Ludmyrna Lopez, known simply as "Myrna," was a Democratic member of the City Council of the California city of Richmond. Born in Berkeley, California, she is a first-generation Latina of Mexican descent, her parents emigrated from Moroleon Guanajuato, Mexico.
Ludmyrna holds a Masters of Science in Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, and a BA from California State University, Hayward.
