Luke Sontag
Organization founder
Who is Luke Sontag?
Having a first hand view of the weakness of password based
authentication, Sontag teamed up with his colleague and friend,
Norvell, to create an Internet scale solution to one of the biggest
problems facing the Web. Prior to founding Vidoop, Sontag was a
security analyst/team lead in Identity Access Management at
JPMorganChase in New York. One of ten children, Sontag worked full time
while financing and earning his Bachelor's degree from St. Gregory's
University. Straight out of high school, his love of technology led to
his first position with Williams Communications (now Level 3
Communications). Three years later, Sontag joined Norvell-Marcum
Company, Inc., holding various positions in the finance and technology
departments. As President of Technology at Vidoop, Sontag led the early
design and prototyping of the company's flagship technology and
assembled the team of engineers that ultimately developed Vidoop SecureĀ®.
