Who is Marc Parmentier?
Marc Parmentier is a Belgian scientist, and professor at the Institute of Multi-disciplinary Research in Human and Molecular Biology of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. He obtained an M.D. in 1981, and a Ph.D. in 1990 at the ULB.
His research interest is on G protein-coupled receptors, and of transgenic models of human pathologies. In 1999, he was awarded the Francqui Prize on Biological and Medical Sciences.
