Who is Mike Thomas?

Michael J. Thomas is an American university administrator, currently the athletic director at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. The University of Cincinnati named Thomas as its athletic director on October 20, 2005. Thomas has won the Robert R. Neyland Outstanding Athletics Director Award twice, once in 2005 while at the University of Akron and again in April 2008 while at Cincinnati. Prior to his time at Akron, he was associate athletic director at the University of Virginia. He serves on a number of national and conference committees.
