Who is Michael Robert Cavendish?
Michael Robert Cavendish is a lawyer and writer living in the State of Florida.
Cavendish, along with former President Jimmy Carter, led the grassroots campaign to free American teacher Aijalon Gomes from North Korea.
Cavendish served as counsel for the imprisoned petitioner in the leading prisoner rights case of Goebert v. Lee County, Florida, 510 F.3d 1312.
Cavendish served three terms as Chair of the Section of Human Rights Law of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
Cavendish served on the Florida Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Cavendish is a member of PEN American Center.
