Who is Mike Maxfield?
Mike Maxfield is an English songwriter and guitarist, who came to fame as a member of The Dakotas. He composed "Cruel Sea", a song which was first recorded by The Ventures. The Dakotas later recorded an instrumental version of the track, which was one of the group's biggest hits.
