Who is Miroslav Stanovský?
Miroslav Stanovský is a Slovak born Latvian slalom canoer who has competed since the late 1980s. He finished tenth in the K-1 event at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He is the first Slovak paddler to win an individual medal in the men's K-1 category with a silver at the inaugural European Canoe Slalom Championships in Augsburg. He is currently competing for Latvia.
