Mohammed Danjuma Goje was elected governor of Gombe State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2003. He is a member of the ruling People's Democratic Party. In the April 2011 elections, Goje competed successfully to be elected Senator for Gombe Central on the PDP ticket.
