Who is Matia Chowdhury?
Matia Chowdhury is a Bangladeshi politician. She is a presidium member of Bangladesh Awami League, a major political party. She is a Member of Parliament and the minister of agriculture under the prime ministership of Sheikh Hasina. She held this post twice before from 1996 to 2001and 2009 to 2013 during the previous tenure of Awami League in power.
