Neal Margulis

With his newest venture, Calista Technologies,

Neal is the founding CEO and has put

together strong VC backing and the team

is off and running to deliver breakthrouth

products in the area of Desktop Virtualization.

With a powerful combination of engineering

and marketing expertise, Neal has formulated

winning development strategies and helped

build several successful companies.

Neal's areas of focus include Computer

Systems, Consumer, Wireless, Broadband

and Digital Media.

Neal has almost 20 years of experience

in the technology industry. In his most

recent operating role, Neal was president

and CEO of iCompression, a leading developer

of voice and video CODEC technology

for the broadband and consumer markets.

In June of 2000, iCompression was acquired

by Conexant in a stock deal valued at

more than $400 million.

Neal has significant operational and

mid size company management experience

and held executive management roles

at graphics chip maker, S3, including

general manager and senior vice president

of research and technology. Neal joined

S3 at the very early stages helped grow

S3 from start-up to prominent public

company and the pioneer in 2D graphics

technology. Additionally, Neal initiated

and led S3's highly successful entry

into the 3D graphics market, shortly

thereafter capturing more than 65% of

the market. Neal managed a group of

200 people and, as GM of the business

unit, was shipping over a million chips

per month.

Prior to joining S3, Neal started his

career with four years at Intel in the

Microprocessor group. Neal is the primary

inventor on nine issued U.S. patents
