Nigel King

Who is Nigel King?

Nigel King is a British professional yachtsman and has competed in several Volvo Ocean Races, the Jules Verne Trophy, Olympic trials and many classic yacht races around the world.

King acts as a coach and mentor to the Volvo RYA Keelboat Programme, which trains Britain’s young talented sailors. In addition, he is a passionate and powerful motivational speaker for both large and small groups, as well as having run successful leadership and business improvement programmes. King is currently embarking on a challenge for the Solitare du Figaro 2007, and is building a campaign for the 2008/2009 Vendee Globe solo round the world race.

King and his wife live in Lymington, Hampshire.
