Who is Norman Yan?
Norman's work focuses on the direct and indirect effects of multiple
anthropogenic stressors (e.g. pollutants, non-indigenous species,
climate change) on the ecosystems of northern lakes, and on factors
regulating the recovery of lakes from historical damage. He works
in a formal partnership with the Ontario Ministry of the Environment,
a previous employer of 25 years, and his body of applied research
has garnered both provincial and national awards.
