Who is Paolo Pucci?
Paolo Pucci is an Italian freestyle swimmer and water polo player who competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics.
In 1956, he was eliminated in the semi-finals of the 100 metre freestyle competition. Also he was a member of the Italian water polo team which finished fourth in the Olympic tournament. He played five matches.
He won a gold medal at the 1958 European Aquatics Championships in 100 m freestyle, becoming Italy's first ever swimming European champion.
