Who is Peggy Neely?

Peggy Neely is an American politician and former member of the Phoenix City Council for Phoenix's 2nd Council District. The City of Phoenix is divided into eight council districts. First sworn into office in January 2002, Neely began serving her second term in January 2006, after being overwhelmingly re-elected in 2005. Neely was again re-elected in 2009. Prior to serving on the council, Neely was a small business owner, broker, realtor, parent, negotiator for private construction firm.

Neely is a long-time Republican and Former Chairwoman of Maricopa Association of Governments, Former Chair of the Paradise Valley Village Planning Committee, Former member Greater Phoenix Convention Center & Visitors Bureau Board of Directors and the Phoenix Water and Sewer Rate Advisory Committee, Phoenix Women’s Sports Association Board, Board of directors for both the Arizona Association of Realtors and the Phoenix Association of Realtors, Past president of the Women’s Council of Realtors Phoenix Chapter, Past PresidentUnited Parents Council, Past president of Sereno Soccer Club and Member of Class 26 Valley Leadership.

Neely is married to her husband Brian, and together they have two children.
