Who is Peter Pike?
Peter Leslie Pike is a Labour Party politician in the United Kingdom. He was a member of Parliament for Burnley from 1983 until 2005.
He announced his intention to retire at the next election as MP in 2003, with a All-Women Shortlist being made over his successor in early 2004. His daughter, Jane, was a firm favourite of becoming the next MP for Burnley, but she did not make the shortlist.
