Who is Peter Styles?

Peter Donald Styles is an Australian politician. He has been a Country Liberal Party member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly since 2008, representing the electorate of Sanderson.

He first served in the new CLP government as the Government Whip and Parliamentary Secretary assisting the Chief Minister with Multicultural Affairs, Young Territorians and Senior Territorians.

In the new Adam Giles-led government he is the Minister for Infrastructure; Minister for Multicultural Affairs; Minister for Senior Territorians and Minister for Young Territorians.

Peter announced his support for voluntary euthanasia in 2010, citing his experience watching his wife die from a terminal illness.

Peter Styles holds a Master of Business Administration degree, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Studies, and a Diploma in Communication and Media.

He is a Fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation; a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Member of the Australian Institute of Management.

Peter Styles and his wife Linda Fazldeen live in the suburb of Marrara where they enjoy the Territory tropical lifestyle and being part of the local community. Their three adult children and their young families live in Darwin and Palmerston.
