Who is Ray Chambers?
Raymond G. Chambers currently serves as United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Financing the Health Millennium Development Goals and for Malaria. He was appointed by Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2008 as Special Envoy for Malaria. and in March 2013 given the additional role as Special Envoy for Financing the Health MDGs.
A native of Newark, New Jersey, he attended Rutgers–Newark where he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and was awarded an MBA from Seton Hall University in 1968.
