Who is Richard Sherlock?
Richard Roland Sherlock is a New Zealand cricketer, a nomadic journeyman who has played for the Canterbury Wizards, Central Districts Stags and the Auckland Aces. He played for the New Zealand "A" team in 2004 and 2005, but his career suffered a setback when he was injured in the build-up to the 2005–06 season. In 2010 Sherlock played with Horsham in the Sussex cricket competition and was invited to partake in a Mushtaq Ahmed benefit match. He was born in Palmerston North.
He currently plies his trade in Denmark as the professional for Skanderborg Cricket Klub. His right arm mediums aren't proving very useful on the artificial pitches.
