Who was Sam Olij?
Simon "Sam" Paulus Olij was a heavyweight boxer from the Netherlands, who represented his native country at the 1928 Summer Olympics. There he was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the men's heavyweight division by eventual gold medalist Arturo Rodríguez from Argentina.
