Who is Shashanka Koirala?
Dr. Shashanka Koirala is a Nepalese politician, belonging to the political dynasty of B.P Koirala. He is also a renowned ophthalmologist. He is the son of former Nepalese Prime Minister B.P. Koirala.
In the 2008 Constituent Assembly election he was elected from the Nawalparasi-1 constituency, winning 17430 votes. He was the sole member of the Koirala family to get elected through the First Past the Post system.
