Conosciuto per essere il fratello di Carlos Cavazo, noto chitarrista dei Quiet Riot, e per aver fatto parte della band per un brevissimo tempo nel 1981, quando era ancora sotto il nome di "DuBrow". Tony Cavazo fece parte anche della hair metal band Hurricane assieme al fratello del bassista dei Quiet Riot Rudy Sarzo, Robert Sarzo.
