Who is Vilas Muttemwar?
Vilas Muttemwar is a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represents the Nagpur Lok Sabha constituency of Maharashtra and is a member of the Indian National Congress political party. He is former minister of state of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy of India. He has been re-elected from the Nagpur Lok Sabha Constituency as a member of the 15th Lok Sabha, the results of which were declared on the 16th of May 2009. This is his 7th term and he had earlier been elected to 7th, 8th, 10th 12th, 13th and 14th Lok Sabha.
Muttemwar's family ethnic Telugu settled in Maharashtra with no known direct links to Andhra Pradesh and in fact, do not even speak Telugu.
