Who is Vincent Sheheen?
Vincent Austin Sheheen is an American attorney and politician. He has been a member of the South Carolina Senate since 2004, representing the 27th District, which comprises Chesterfield, Kershaw, and Lancaster counties. He was a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from 2000 to 2004. He ran for Governor of South Carolina, losing to Nikki Haley in 2010. He is running again in 2014. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
