Anantkumar Hegde was born on May 20, 1968, in Sirsi, Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka. Raised in a politically engaged family, he pursued his education at MM Arts & Science College in Sirsi, where he became associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and later the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), setting the stage for his future political career.

Political Career

Hegde's political journey commenced with the 1996 Lok Sabha elections, marking the beginning of a noteworthy career. Despite a setback in 1999, he emerged victorious in subsequent elections, securing the Uttara Kannada constituency for five consecutive terms.
