Who is Bob Kelly?

Bob Kelly, a U.S. Navy fighter pilot, flew the F-14 Tomcat from the decks of several aircraft carriers, including combat missions over Iraq from the U.S.S. Nimitz. He also flew the F/A-18 Hornet, versions A,B,C,and D. Bob Kelly was based at NAS Miramar in San Diego, as well as Lemoore California. Bob Kelly went on to retire from the U.S. Navy, and became an airline Captain, flying the MD-80 and 737. During his time in the Navy, Bob Kelly was educated on vineyards and winery operations, and he founded Pacific Ridge Vineyards, a boutique California winery, in 1995. The winery produces high quality, artisanal wines in the Santa Barbara wine country.
