Who is Chase Elliott?
William Clyde "Chase" Elliott II, is the son of racing legend Bill Elliott, and followed in his footsteps as a professional stock car racing driver in NASCAR's top level of competition. The 2016 NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year, Chase won the 2020 Cup Series championship making him and his father only the third father-son tandem to win series titles (the others being Lee and Richard Petty and Ned and Dale Jarrett). He won the 2014 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship as a rookie and still races, periodically, in the Xfinity and Craftsman Truck series. Elliott is a full-time driver in the Cup Series, driving the #9 Chevy Camaro ZL1 for Hendrick Motorsports.
