Who is Glen Gray?

Glen Carlton Gray was the 13th head football coach for Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas and he held that position for three seasons, from 1913 until 1915. His overall coaching record at Washburn was 11 wins, 10 losses, and 3 ties. This ranks him 12th at Washburn in terms of total wins and 20th at Washburn in terms of winning percentage.

Prior to Washburn, Gray coached the Oberlin Yeomen of Oberlin College in 1911 and 1912. He went 13–2–1 in those two seasons.

He was accidentally shot to death in 1921 when he was mistaken for a bear during an assessment work party.
