Who is Jim Hunter?

Jim is a company co-founder,Chief Architect and CTO of 4HomeMedia. He has

been responsible for much of the company’s user interface and

intellectual property development. Prior to joining 4HomeMedia, Jim was

the founder, Chief Architect, and lead developer for Nearmedia, a home

automation software and solutions developer. Prior to that, he

co-founded Premise Systems, a developer of network-based home

automation products, which was subsequently acquired by Lantronix, and

which is now is a division of Motorola. Prior to that, Jim served as a

nuclear engineer and master training specialist in the US Navy, earning

numerous awards and accommodations. Jim holds numerous technical

certifications and technology industry honors, is a member of the UPnP

Home Automation Working Group, and chairs the LonWorks Home Automation

Task Force.
