Who is Julia Cheiffetz?
Julia Cheiffetz is the Editorial Director of Amazon Publishing. Prior to Amazon, she was a Senior Editor at HarperCollins, a division of Newscorp, where she published Harold Bloom, Stanley Fish, Erica Jong, Gayle Tzemach Lemmon, and Sam Wasson. From 2002 to 2008 Cheiffetz was an Editor at Random House where she published the controversial anthology This Is Not Chick Lit and the debut works of many writers including Karen Abbott. She is on the Board of Directors of the Lower East Side Girls Club. She is married to Thomas Henry Walker.
