Who is Karen Hennigar?

Karen Hennigar is a Canadian curler. She was a Gold Medal winner at the 2010 World Senior Curling Championships in Chelyabinsk, Russia and a Gold Medal winner at the 2009 Canadian Senior Curling Championships in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.

In 1988, Hennigar played in her first Scott Tournament of Hearts, playing lead for Judy Burgess. In 2003, she made her second Hearts' appearance as fifth player for Nancy McConnery. Hennigar played in 3 Canadian Senior Championships - 2004 and 2005 for Sue Anne Bartlett and 2009 for Colleen Pinkney.

Hennigar played second for skip Colleen Pinkney at the 2009 Canadian Senior Curling Championships in Summerside, PEI by defeating British Columbia in the final, then went on to represent Canada at the 2010 World Senior Curling Championships in Chelyabinsk, Russia where they won Gold over Switzerland to take home Canada's 6th World Senior Curling Championship title.
