김가연은 대한민국의 배우이다. 광주광역시에서 1남 1녀 중 장녀로 태어났다. 95년에 결혼했다가 이혼을 했으며, 전 남편과 사이에서 딸이 1명 있는 싱글맘이다. 딸은 2014년 현재 스무살이다. 현재 프로게이머 임요환과 열애중이며, Slayers 팀의 게임단장이기도 하다. 2011년 이미 임요환과 혼인 신고를 한 것으로 알려져, 결혼식만 하지 않았을 뿐, 둘은 법적으로는 부부사이이다.
