Who is Parichay?

Parichay, is an Indo-Canadian Singer, Music Producer and Performer. He has released 2 albums so far as well as several Bollywood Film songs including Yamla Pagla Deewana Remix and O Meri Chandni from the film Chaar Din Ki Chandni which he sang with Sunidhi Chauhan. Parichay is considered a pioneer of Urban Desi music in Canada as he combines several genres such Reggae, Hip Hop, Pop and House with Hindi and Punjabi music. His first video single Deewana Tera put him on the map as an artist with immense potential. His next single Kasam Se showed off his vocal ability and versatility. All his releases since then have done well around the world with numerous hits including Tum Habibi, She's A Playa, Tu Hi Zindagi, Queen of Spades etc. that have topped charts worldwide. Bobby friction of BBC said "It is a crime that Parichay is not one of the biggest names at the moment in Desi and Bollywood music. I have never been this sure about an artist in a very long time. There is one thing he does every single time he releases a track and that is - get better and better. He is about to blow-up big time. Mark my words"
