Who is Sanford L. Segal?

Sanford Leonard Segal was a mathematician, Doctor of Mathematics, historian of science and mathematics, and professor Emeritus in Mathematics, who specialized in analytic number theory, and complex analysis. He wrote the textbook Nine Introductions in Complex Analysis, and the tome Mathematicians Under the Nazis, a historical recount from that period. He also taught courses in women's studies, and nuclear arms. Many of his academic papers have been published in several scientific journals, and have been cited by colleagues in the fields of mathematics and history of science.
