Who is Tallo Mary?

Tallo Mary, a singer-songwriter, was born in Itanagar. She is from a small town called Ziro, in the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

As a middle-school goer, she first started scribbling lyrics in her notebooks/diary. She often picked a random stanza from a song book, adding her own melodies into them. Growing up watching stars on Disney Channel, she often wondered how people on her screen were able to sing instantly with only a quick glance at their lyrics sheet. Little did she know they were “trained actors” :D

With time, by the age of eleven, by using her dad’s old guitar, she was able to learn the basic chords required to play a song in different scales. Since then, she started creating songs in her tiny bedroom and recorded them in her voice notes app.

Currently, she plans on having her own little home studio for a better sound production.
